Ivan
Robles
Ivan
Robles, founding partner of the law firm Robles y Robles,
has practice the law since 1972. He obtained his Law
and Political Science Degree at the Universidad de la
Plata, Argentina. During the period 1976-1977, he rendered
his services as Special Advisor of the Loan Department
of the Dadeland Bank in Miami, Florida. Since his return
to Panama in 1979, his professional carrier has been
vinculated to the maritime, corporate, insurance and
banking law; public bids, maritime litigation, registration
of ships and fishing regulations. He is member of the
Panamanian Bar Association since 1980, of the Comite
Maritime International (CMI) since 1987; of the Instituto
Iberoamericano de Derecho Marítimo since 1989
and of the Panamanian Maritime Law Association since
1989.
Winston
Robles
Winston Robles,
has practiced law since 1966 and is a founding partner
of the law firm Robles y Robles. He obtained his Law
and Political Science Degree at the Universidad Libre
de Colombia and specialized in Criminal Law and Penitentiary
Sciences at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Winston
Robles, PhD rendered his services as lawyer of Banco
Nacional de Panamá and acted as Chief of the
Legal Department and Secretary of the Board of Directors
of the Bank. He was entitled as Vice-President of the
Bar Association of Panama and unfold as professor of
Philosophy and Politic Sciences at Law and Politic Science
School of the Universidad de Panama. In 1978 he founded
the Universidad de San Pedro Sula in Honduras, and participate
as academic director and professor of specialized subjects
of Law School. Since 1982, Winston Robles was entitled
as Director of La Prensa newspaper and currently, he
is the Regional Vice-President of the Press Liberty
and Information Commission of the Sociedad Interamericana
de Prensa, as well as member of its Board of Directors.
In addition, he is member of the Centro Latinoamericano
de Periodismo.

Maria Patricia Diaz obtained her
Law and Political Science Degree at the Universidad
Santa María La Antigua. Since 1989 she has been
working at the Law firm Robles & Robles. In 1997,
she became member of the Asociacion Panameña
de Derecho Maritimo and part of the International Treaties
and Affairs Committee of the Association; Commissioned
by the Tuna Industry at the Panamanian Delegation for
the Interamerican Tropical Tuna Commission; Representative
of Robles & Robles at the Asociación Panameña
de la Industria Atunera; Representative of Robles &
Robles at the Fundacion Internacional de Pesca and since
2004 is a formal member of the Instituto Iberoamericano
de Derecho Marítimo.
